To build a ppc64 kernel, you’ll need a suitable toolchain. Instructions for building one are available on the toolchain page.

Bitkeeper

The most recent ppc64 kernel source is available from the source.scl.ameslab.gov BitKeeper tree. However, changes are frequently merged with the mainline Linux kernel. Both 2.4 and 2.5 kernels are available.
