To build a ppc64 kernel, you’ll need a suitable toolchain. Instructions for building one are available on the toolchain page.
The most recent ppc64 kernel source is available from the source.scl.ameslab.gov BitKeeper tree. However, changes are frequently merged with the mainline Linux kernel. Both 2.4 and 2.5 kernels are available.
For fixes listed below, numbers in [ ] indicate IBM Bugzilla entries. Most bugs can be looked up at the IBM bugzilla web page.
